In this new world, we have come to realise the limitations and worthlessness of power, money, and fame. In the face of the challenges of this new world, we understand that we have failed to grasp what is important in the end. We have been taught a tough lesson.
The Development Office continues to keep in touch with our very helpful Alumni since there is much to be done. We must enhance the belief that life at Del is healthy and growing.
I owe a lot of this growth to the people I met at the school. The faculty and student body are comprised of skilled athletes, public speakers, artists, musicians, scientists, mathematicians, classical thinkers, leaders, social advocates and more.
We are delighted to profile Victoria Mierzwa (DEL 06) and Katerina Juskey (DEL o8) and their success as young entrepreneurs.
It is an exciting time here at De La Salle College as the renovations of the Del Centre are underway. As time passes, technology advances, and in turn, curriculum must correlate and evolve.

In these trying days of the pandemic of our generation, we too must plan carefully to keep many important facets of our life together. If we have work and our families are well, we must give thanks to Divine Providence for these great gifts.
Pasta it Forward was created in my role as President of the Canadian Italian Heritage Foundation. Pasta it Forward was inspired by the random act of kindness one of my good friends told me about where she bought two trays of lasagna for a mom in need she read about.
We are delighted to be able to profile three current teachers at the College who are all graduates of De La Salle. We asked them what their experience has been like teaching in these unique and challenging times.
I attended Del from 1957 to 1959 in Grades 12 and 13. I had come from a Christian Brothers school in Montreal, Cardinal Newman High School. I was used to their excellent teaching and I liked the classes taught by Brothers Michael, Mel, Wilfrid, Gabriel, and Ambrose.
When I attended George Alexandrowicz’ s funeral, I remembered a Slovak saying that if the sun is shining on the day of your funeral, then your cycle of life is complete and you are going to your eternal reward; if it raining, the raindrops represent your tears at having been called before your time.
In his own words, Hector said that Del "taught me the skills to be an independent, self-directed learner, to adapt to all sorts of work environments, and to work well and closely with all kinds of people."
