October Reflection from Brother Domenic

In an institution as long-standing at De La Salle in Toronto, there are moments of particular significance that arise every so often. The arrival of the first "Freres" form Montreal in 1851 to the new City of Toronto and the establishment of a small academy the very same year is naturally of major importance. Already in the Province of Quebec for some twenty years, the Lasallian mission would grow too in English-speaking Canada.

Vice-Principal's Message

A Community Connected

Community connectedness is alive and thriving within our Oaklands campus. How remarkably wonderful it is to witness the positive interactions among student, faculty and parent communities as we have transitioned into the new academic session. As the busyness of the school year begins to unfold, it is apparent that our students are taking full advantage of the various events and extracurricular activities that help shape the student-life experience at Del.

Important Reminders

Grade 7 Immunizations

On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, nurses from Toronto Public Health will be in the school to provide free vaccinations to Grade 7 students. The vaccines will protect students against serious infections. These are also great vaccines to get before you travel.

Be sure to hand in your signed consent forms if you have not already submitted them.  Remember to wear a loose sleeved shirt and eat breakfast on the day of the clinic.

Freedom of Information Consent Form

Please be reminded that if you have yet to complete the Freedom of Information Consent Form, you can still do so by following the link here for instructions on how to fill out the form. We kindly ask that you submit a form for each child by October 5 at the latest.

Tutorial Schedule

The 2018-2019 Tutorial Schedule has been uploaded to both the Parent and Student Portals. Please note that a teacher's schedule is subject to change based on their involvement with extra-curricular clubs or sports teams, therefore we recommend double checking their availability before attending tutorial.
