January 2017

January Reflection from Brother Domenic

After the feast of the Epiphany, we emerge from the Christmas season and the great celebrations connected with the Nativity. Decorations are removed, the crèche is dismantled and the last sounds of carols have been stored away for another year. The Solemnity of the Feast of the Holy Mother of God, which ushers in the new year and our Lord's Presentation in the Temple lead us to the period of time of Jesus' life that goes from childhood, boyhood to adulthood – the so-called hidden life at Nazareth before his public ministry.
