Financial Aid
The purpose of this Institute is to provide a human and Christian education to the young, especially the poor, according to the ministry which the Church has entrusted to it. As part of the College’s mandate to be accessible to young people from low and middle income situations, all scholarships, bursaries and other forms of financial assistance are offered on a needs basis only. The Brother Michael Dillon, FSC, Bursary Fund
The Father Michael Luchka Memorial Scholarship
- Full or partial tuition, renewable on an annual basis
- This scholarship was established by the College in memory of the late Father M. Luchka to be awarded to deserving students entering at any grade level. It is intended to assist families who are unable to afford a private Catholic school education of excellence. Awards are given to those young people who demonstrate a willingness to involve themselves in community service projects. Proceeds from the annual Father Michael Luchka Golf Tournament are directed to this scholarship
The Superior General's Scholarship
- Full tuition, renewble on an annual basis
- This scholarship was established on the occasion of the visit of the former Superior General of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, the Most Honoured Brother Alvaro Rodriquez, FSC. The funds for this scholarship are made available by the Brothers of the Christian Schools of Ontario and are awarded to deserving students from local Catholic elementary schools
The Jonathan Herrmann Scholarship
- Full tuition, renewable on an annual basis
- Named in memory of the late Jonathan Herrmann, alumnus, this scholarship is awarded annually to a student from St. Paul's Catholic Elementary School. The award is given to a student who possesses the potential to demonstrate the qualities of courage and leadership so well exemplified in the brief life of Jonathan who passed away in 1998
The Warren Leonard Scholarship
- Full tuition, renewable on an annual basis
- This scholarship was established through the generosity of the late Mr. W. Leonard, an alumnus, to two deserving students from St. Mary's Elementary Catholic School who demonstrate the potential to excel in promoting the Gospel values in a Lasallian school community
The Frank Buckley Scholarship
Brother Isidore Waslylenchuk FSC Scholarship
- This scholarship has been generously sponsored by Brother Isidore Waslylenchuk, FSC, and is intended for a student at any grade level who is of Ukranian origin and is in need of financial assistance in order to attend the College. Each year a total of $5,000 will be distributed among the applicants. Current as well as new students are welcome to apply

Fabio Sementilli Memorial Scholarship
This partial scholarship was established through the generosity of the De La Salle Class of 1986 to remember their fallen classmate, Fabio Sementilli, whose bright & vivid flame was extinguished far too early. It is provided to an incoming economically-challenged student with artistic merit, with preference to students from the inner city.

2021 - 2022 Tuition Payment Schedule - New Students
Plan I - Regular Schedule
Due upon acceptance (prior to June 1, 2020): $5,950
Due within 4 weeks following first payment: $5,000
Due within 4 weeks following second payment: $5,000

Plan II - Extended Schedule
Due upon acceptance: $2,000
Monthly (for ten months beginning March 1, 2021 to December 1, 2021): $1,430**

**For example: May acceptance - total first payment of $6,290 =$2,000 + 3 x $1,430
Plan III - Early Payment Plan
Registration Day: Full Payment of $15,850
[Grade 12: $16,100]*
Acceptance after May 31, 2021: tuition of $15,950 is due in full upon acceptance

Terms and Conditions
- If Plan I or Plan III is not followed, the total tuition owing shall be considered as per Plan II. Late payment for Plan II shall result in a service charge of 1.5% per month. Returned or NSF cheques shall be charged $ 50.
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for the full tuition fees for the academic year in the event a student is dismissed or withdrawn, or as otherwise determined by the President of the College.
- Unless otherwise determined by the President of the College, all tuition fees are to be paid in full by December 1, 2021. Any student whose tuition fees have not been paid in full by this date shall be disqualified from registration for any subsequent academic year. Any student whose tuition fees are not paid in accordance with this schedule or have any other outstanding fee may not receive their report card.
- Failure to pay tuition fees in full by December 1, 2021 may result in the dismissal of the student from the College or from admission to classes beyond December 1, 2021.
- Students receiving bursaries, financial assistance, or scholarships are not eligible for any further discounts in tuition fees. Non-mandatory school activities, excursions, trips, and all summer school courses are NOT covered by the College. Partial bursaries or scholarships are applied to the last payments of Plan I or Plan II.
- The fee for the De La Salle Parents’ Association is $ 125.00 per family. Please include a separate cheque made payable to the “De La Salle Parents’ Association”.
- The Tuition Fee Schedule is considered the Principal Invoice for Fees and should, therefore, be retained for reference.
International Visa Students
Tuition for International Visa Students for the 2021 - 2022 academic year is $19,100.
Withdrawal Refund Schedule for New Visa Students: In the event that a student withdraws from the school before June 1, 2022, all monies paid to date, except $11,000.00 will be refunded. Should a student be withdrawn from the school after May 31, 2022, all monies paid to date will not be refunded.
